In the context of rapidly developing technology, grasping and leveraging the power of artificial intelligence (AI) is key to processing information, mastering knowledge, contributing to improving the quality of education, and creating breakthrough lessons in schools. To maximize the benefits of AI in education, cooperation among schools, teachers, students, and technology experts is essential.

Overview of the training session

Recognizing the importance of artificial intelligence in social life as well as its impacts and challenges for teachers in the classroom, the High School of Education Sciences (HES) organized training and professional development for teachers on applying AI in teaching and school administration.

On Thursday, June 13, 2025, in room 203 HT2, VNU Urban Area in Hoa Lac, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phan Thu - Lecturer at VNU University of Economics, expert in applying AI to data management and strategy; and Mr. Do Quang Huy, M.A. - CEO of EcoTop Company, Co-founder of Ding Ding Group, e-commerce consultant for Mixcom Company, accompanied a short-term course, directly guiding specialized teams and groups.

The training session was specifically designed to equip teachers with practical knowledge and skills, helping them confidently apply the most popular and practical AI tools in their daily teaching work, such as: building PowerPoint lectures, transforming traditional lecture slides into more lively and engaging ones with AI support; building Mindmaps to help students organize knowledge and review effectively; creating illustrative images and videos to enrich lecture content and attract student attention; developing a diverse set of review questions and implementing matrix-based mixing techniques, saving time and optimizing the test creation process. AI supports teachers and administrators in the teaching process by assisting in lesson planning, developing teaching materials, designing tests, grading, analyzing results, and supporting personalized feedback for learners.

AI comprehensively impacts the three pillars of education: curriculum, teaching and learning processes, and assessment. AI is an inevitable trend in education in the digital age. With the knowledge and skills acquired through this training, the school's teaching staff will be more confident and creative, maximizing their natural intelligence while reasonably applying artificial intelligence to truly make AI a powerful tool to enhance the quality of education and training at the school in the coming academic years.
