In implementation of the 2025 - 2026 academic year mission plan and emphasizing primary healthcare for students, on January 27, 2026, the High School of Education Sciences (HES) coordinated with the VNU Hospital to organize periodic health examinations for all students in the school.
Periodic health check-ups are a core component of school health activities at HES. This activity not only helps monitor the physical development of students but also strengthens the close coordination between the School, Families, and the Healthcare sector in caring for the younger generation.
During the session, under the guidance of medical staff and teachers, students underwent general health checks following a scientific process, including:
-
Physical index measurement: Height, weight, and BMI.
-
Specialized examinations: Ophthalmology (vision testing, eye disease screening); Otorhinolaryngology (Ear-Nose-Throat); Odonto-Stomatology (Dental); Musculoskeletal system, and more.
The team of doctors from VNU Hospital, with high expertise and modern equipment, worked diligently to facilitate early detection of common school-related health risks such as myopia, scoliosis, and tooth decay. This allows for timely notification to families to pursue appropriate treatment.
Beyond the examinations, the doctors directly consulted with students on balanced nutrition, methods to protect eyesight in a learning environment filled with electronic devices, and ways to prevent seasonal infectious diseases. This practical knowledge helps students raise their awareness of self-care and cultivate scientific living habits.
The health check-up activity was conducted safely, seriously, and effectively. The results will be synthesized and classified by the School Health Department and specifically communicated to each parent.
The organization of periodic health examinations demonstrates the deep concern of the HES School Management Board for the comprehensive development of students. A strong physical foundation will be a solid prerequisite for HES students to confidently learn, create, and actively participate in experiential activities, enhancing the stature and intellect of Vietnam's future.
