On the afternoon of October 10, 2024, Highschool of Education Sciences successfully organized an in-depth training program on career guidance and psychological support for students. The event attracted the enthusiastic participation of counselors, guidance teachers, and homeroom teachers, under the guidance of Dr. Quan Dung (Dustin), Director of Academic Affairs, Psychological Counseling, and Career Guidance at the Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) system.
During the program, teachers were equipped with valuable knowledge and skills to:
- Guide students in self-directed career exploration through personality tests and modern career guidance tools. Additionally, teachers discussed the role of families in accompanying students throughout the career orientation process.
- Address students' psychological issues, especially identifying signs and potential risks. This topic received significant attention from teachers, given the increasing importance of school psychology.
- Enhance the quality of the study abroad guidance office by discussing practical experiences and applying international standard guidance office models.
- The event concluded with insightful and practical sharing from Dr. Quan Dung, along with lively interactions among teachers and student feedback. This will undoubtedly serve as a foundation for HES to continue improving and enhancing the quality of career guidance and psychological support for students at the school.
