In an era of deep international integration, preserving identity and fostering national pride for the younger generation is a key mission of education. Recognizing this, at Room 104 - HT2 (VNU Urban Area, Hoa Lac), the Staff and Faculty Youth Union Branch of the High School of Education Sciences (HES) organized a meaningful thematic seminar titled: “Educating National Pride in the Context of Globalization.”

This is a periodic political and professional activity aimed at enhancing political awareness, social responsibility, and pedagogical capacity for the young teaching staff—the core force in the school's comprehensive education mission.
The seminar took place in a serious yet highly interactive atmosphere. Opening the program, union members from the Literature Department presented a profound paper clarifying the modern expressions of national pride in contemporary life. The presentation also frankly analyzed the opportunities and challenges posed by the wave of globalization: How to integrate without losing one's identity? How can a global citizen still carry the "Vietnamese soul"?

The most vibrant part was the "Quick Q&A" interaction and the discussion topic "How will I teach?". Young teachers actively shared practical experiences and creative methods to integrate history and culture lessons into every subject, thereby awakening a love for the country in the most natural and heartfelt way for students.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung, M.A. – Vice Principal of the School, recognized the proactive spirit and innovative thinking of the Staff and Faculty Youth Union Branch. He highly appreciated the choice of a theme that is both topical and educationally profound, closely linked to the school's training mission.

Sharing this perspective, Comrade Nguyen Hai Duong – Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of VNU University of Education and Secretary of the HES Joint Youth Union, commended the positive contributions of the young faculty. He expressed his expectation that in the second semester, the branch will continue to play a pioneering role and strengthen connections with the Youth Union organization to create a strong resonance in general movements.

The thematic seminar concluded but opened up many practical suggestions for innovating educational methods at HES. This contributes to building a school environment rich in cultural identity and humanity, where every student is proud to be Vietnamese when reaching out to the world.
