Aiming for the High School Graduation Exam under the 2018 General Education Program, the Biology specialized group organized an in-depth training session on the topic: "Building Matrices and Review Tests for the High School Graduation Exam in Biology, Applying AI in High School Biology Teaching." The training session was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Doan Long – Vice Principal of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The training session focused on clarifying several issues regarding competency assessment and the principles of building assessment tests oriented towards students' competency development. From updating the new exam structure, analyzing the matrix and cognitive levels according to competency development orientation, to guiding the design of objective multiple-choice questions – all were presented clearly and systematically. Additionally, it clarified how AI supports teaching and the most effective applications of AI in high school Biology teaching.

Parallel to providing theoretical knowledge, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Doan Long also facilitated direct practice, discussion, and revision of questions in the new format. This allowed teachers not only to correctly understand but also to implement and flexibly apply the knowledge to their teaching and assessment practices.

Thus, the training session was not just a regular professional activity, but also an opportunity for the Biology teaching team to learn together, enhance their expertise, and be fully prepared to accompany students in conquering the high school graduation exam.
