
To enhance the quality of teaching and learning for History and keep pace with changes in teaching methodologies, assessment, and various examinations, the High School of Education Sciences organized a professional training session on the topic: "Orientations for the High School Graduation Exam, Competency Assessment, Gifted Student Exams, and the Application of AI Technology in History Teaching in High Schools."
During the training, Dr. Nguyen Van Ninh - Head of the History Department, Hanoi National University of Education - shared practical issues and profound orientations on:
- The structure, trends, and new requirements in the High School Graduation Exam for History.
- Analysis of characteristics and effective review methods for the Competency Assessment Exam (ĐGNL) and Gifted Student Exams at all levels.
- Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in designing lessons, assessing, and developing students' historical thinking abilities.
- Suggestions for innovations in differentiated teaching and personalized learning towards developing qualities and competencies.
The training session served as an open professional forum where teachers could update their knowledge, share practical challenges, and collectively find effective innovative solutions suitable for the subject's characteristics and the current educational reform requirements.
