After conquering the Northern Region Championship, the debate team Clueless, comprising 05 students from the High School of Education Sciences (HES), continued to assert their mettle at the Global Citizen Debate Challenge 2025 National Finals, and excellently won the proud Second Prize!

With sharp arguments, impressive rebuttal skills, and a confident demeanor, members Bui Bao Yen (11D1), Le Quang Thang (11A2), Nguyen Ngoc Yen Nhi (11A2), Nguyen Thi My Van (11A2), and Nguyen Viet Duc (11A2) left a strong impression on the judges and audience. More than just a remarkable achievement, the GCDC 2025 Runner-up title is a testament to the academic spirit and global mindset that HES always strives for!

Notably, Bui Bao Yen and Nguyen Ngoc Yen Nhi – two familiar faces of the Clueless team – were previously the Champion and Runner-up of Metanoia Season 2, an annual academic debate competition in English held at HES. It can be said that Metanoia was an excellent launchpad, helping HES students hone critical thinking skills, teamwork, and confidently express their individual voices – crucial factors for being ready to conquer larger playing fields.

From a school playground to a national debate arena, the HESers have shown that passion, perseverance, and a spirit of learning are the keys to reaching further.

Once again, congratulations to the Clueless team – GCDC 2025 National Runner-up! HES is proud of you!
