On the afternoon of January 22, 2026, at the HES Space (Hoa Lac), the High School of Education Sciences successfully organized the musical exchange program “Jazz & HES #1” with the theme “Seasonal Transition.” The event left a deep impression and sweet echoes in the hearts of the school's faculty, staff, and students.
True to its name, the program was a wonderful intersection between the chilly air of the days leading up to Tet and the radiating warmth from music-loving hearts. During the exchange, members of the MASS Club (HES) had the opportunity to share the stage, performing and learning from the talented lecturers and students of the Vietnam National Academy of Music (Jazz Ga Band).
The audience at HES Space was guided through various emotional spectrums: from the improvisation, freedom, and openness characteristic of Jazz to the gentle and sophisticated melodies of spring love songs. The distance between performer and listener vanished as everyone immersed themselves in the flow of sound—where art was honored and emotions reached their peak.
"Jazz & HES #1: Seasonal Transition" was not merely an entertainment activity but also carried profound aesthetic educational significance, helping HES students approach academic music genres in an accessible way. At the same time, it served as a poetic "starting pistol," kicking off a vibrant series of cultural and artistic activities leading towards the 2026 Spring Festival and the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the school (February 6, 2026).
The program has concluded, but the echoes of an afternoon filled with the tones of spring will linger, providing a source of positive energy and creative inspiration for HES teachers and students in the journey ahead.
