The Universityof Adelaide has an invitation for students in grades 10, 11, 12 to register to attend a series of seminars on Global Future Planning.
This is a program consisting of a series of 3 meetings/discussions designed in the form of a "flipped classroom": students will receive reference materials about the topic of discussion before attending and participating in the webinar in the form of Game Kahoot to learn about the knowledge for the topics in those discussions. Students will have 45 minutes to play the game while learning information and 15 minutes to ask and answer (Q&A).
The content of 3 sessions will be designed to provide information the 3 most important aspects when students have the need to study abroad and the necessary content to prepare to study in 3 countries Australia, Canada and the US:
- Understanding the country, the destination - what are the difficulties and advantages.
- Understanding the study environment and working policies after graduation.
- Understanding the admissions process and apply for scholarships.
Time:
- Sunday 17 Oct 9-10am: Part 1
- Sunday 24 Oct 9-10am: Part 2
- Sunday 31 Oct 9-10am: Part 3

- Part 1 Things you may not know about studying in the US, Canada & Australia
- Part 2 Working policy and study environment in the US, Canada & Australia
- Part 3 Planning to study abroad : Profile, Scholarship & Finance
