On the morning of December 14, 2024, the High School for Educational Sciences (HES) had the great honor of hosting the Opening Ceremony of the 2024–2025 Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) Science and Technology Contest.

The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Anh Tuấn, Head of the Training Department, VNU; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trần Thành Nam, Vice Rector of the University of Education; the Board of Management of HES; esteemed members of the judging panel; school staff; as well as representatives of participating teams, parents, and students.

The VNU Science and Technology Contest is a valuable academic platform where high school students are encouraged to explore, create, and conduct scientific research while engaging in meaningful exchange and learning from one another. This competition also provides an opportunity for high school students from across the country to experience the educational environment at VNU—one of Vietnam's leading universities.

Through the contest, the organizers aim to awaken the scientific research potential of high school students, equipping them with confidence for their future endeavors.

This year’s projects have been meticulously researched, focusing deeply on issues related to sustainable development. They promise to offer practical scientific solutions with effective applications in daily life.
