On the morning of October 24, 2023, the High School of Education Sciences received support from Capstone, an organization that facilitated an interactive information exchange session regarding academic fields and the journey towards obtaining scholarships at Ohio University, USA.

Ohio University, a university that goes beyond just a degree, boasts impressive credentials, including:

  • Ranking within the Top 100 public universities according to the U.S. News and World Report.
  • Offering automatic scholarships ranging from 24% to 48% and academic scholarships of up to 90%.
  • Providing over 250 academic programs, in-depth research opportunities, internships, and exchanges.
  • Hosting more than 500 clubs and two entrepreneurial innovation centers.
  • Maintaining reasonable tuition fees (under $25,000 per year) with no increases over the four-year program.
  • Nurturing a network of alumni employed at prestigious companies such as Google, JPMorgan Chase, Amazon, and Microsoft.

During the exchange session, attendees had the opportunity to engage in discussions and direct interactions with Ohio University's Admission Representative, Ms. Vicki Seefeldt West, the Director of International Admissions, right in Hanoi. The session covered a wide range of topics, including:

  • Addressing questions about pursuing higher education in the United States.
  • Providing detailed information about the university and the application process.
  • Exploring strategies to secure scholarships of up to 90%.
  • Receiving complimentary gifts from Capstone Vietnam.

The event was attended by representatives of the school's administration, language department teachers, and students with a strong passion for studying in the United States. During the exchange, students gained valuable insights into their academic pathways and the necessary preparations for a successful scholarship journey.
