This Thursday, October 19, 2023, the High School of Education Sciences was honored to receive support from Vietnam National University, Hanoi to organize a networking and exchange event regarding management, teaching, and cooperation between the principals of Balwyn High School, Australia, and key officials of HES.

Balwyn High School operates as a public secondary school located in the suburb of North Balwyn, in the city of Melbourne. Balwyn High School is recognized as the fourth-largest high school in terms of training scale in the state of Victoria. Balwyn High School is a large multicultural, co-educational, government secondary school with a student population of approximately 2200 students. Located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, the school was established in 1954 and our renowned International Student Program commenced in 1996. Our International Student Program currently attracts students from China, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philipines, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. In the upcoming year, the school plans to offer a Vietnamese language program for its students. Balwyn shares many commonalities in terms of its comprehensive educational philosophy, administrative perspectives, and management practices.

With over 70 years of experience, the principal of Balwyn High School shared insights into developing programs for both curricular and extracurricular activities, student exchange programs between the two schools, online and in-person interaction activities, teacher exchange programs, and extended invitations for school visits in the upcoming academic year. These heartfelt exchanges and meaningful management discussions promise to bring exciting opportunities for students from both schools in the near future.
