(HES) - After three days of exciting competition from March 20 to March 22, 2026, at Phenikaa University, the National Science and Engineering Fair (NSEF) for high school students for the 2025 - 2026 school year has officially concluded. The High School of Education Sciences (HES) is honored and proud as the school's team excellently brought home a prestigious Silver Medal (Second Prize).
This year's competition witnessed fierce competition on a large scale, gathering hundreds of high-quality research projects from specialized high schools, university-affiliated schools, and provinces across the country. Overcoming rigorous evaluation criteria, the research project titled "Study on the interaction between egg white protein and nano-gibbsite materials for antibiotic treatment applications" in the field of Biochemistry—conducted by two students, Trinh Minh Duc (Class 11A2) and Nguyen Huy Vu (Class 10A4)—completely convinced the National Board of Judges.
The project by the HES students was highly rated by experts for its novelty, in-depth scientific content, and excellent practical application in addressing environmental and medical issues. To achieve this brilliant result, the school's two young scientists underwent a process of relentless effort, diligently researching and testing day and night under the dedicated mentorship and guidance of their teachers. In addition to the project's quality, the fluent and confident presentation style, along with the sharp critical thinking and defense skills of Minh Duc and Huy Vu, left a very deep impression.
The National Second Prize achievement is not only a great source of pride for the individual students, their families, and the collective of instructing teachers but also adds to the "Golden Board of Achievements" of the High School of Education Sciences on the occasion of its 10th anniversary. This is the clearest evidence affirming the high-performance educational quality, the orientation toward comprehensive capacity development, and the ever-burning passion for scientific research among HES students. Today's success will surely be a great source of motivation, strongly inspiring subsequent generations of students to step firmly on the path of conquering the heights of knowledge.
Let’s look back at the radiant and proud moments on the podium of the HES teachers and students at this afternoon's closing ceremony below!
