(HES) - Recently, during a working session between the leaders of the Hanoi Party Committee and the Management Board of High-Tech Parks, the orientation to build Hoa Lac into a core ecosystem for innovation, science, technology, and a university urban area was strongly emphasized. This strategic direction is not only a turning point for the Capital but also opens up a promising developmental space for the teachers and students of the High School of Education Sciences (HES).

Mr. Hoang Minh Son – President of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, delivering his speech.

According to the orientation through the end of 2026, Hanoi will resolutely complete land clearance to create clean land funds to attract global strategic investors. The Hoa Lac High-Tech Park will focus on attracting major corporations and enterprises operating in five spearhead fields of the future: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics and Automation, Semiconductors, Advanced Biomedicine, and Aerospace. In parallel, transport infrastructure connecting to the city center and social utilities—such as bus routes, medical services, and housing—will be synchronously upgraded, creating one of the smartest and most modern urban areas.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phong – Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, speaking at the session.

City leaders and leaders of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) reached a high consensus on the importance of forming a closely linked ecosystem between Universities, Research Institutes, and Enterprises. This ecosystem will be based on three main pillars: infrastructure, institutions, and human resources, thereby transforming Hoa Lac into a "Silicon Valley" of Vietnam—a place to nurture breakthrough ideas and train elite personnel for the country.

  • Mr. Vu Dai Thang – Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, sharing his insights.

  •  Located entirely within the planning of the University City and the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park, the High School of Education Sciences possesses enormous macro-advantages. Studying at a school situated in the heart of innovation provides HES students with invaluable experiences. Students will soon "absorb" the spirit of science and technology, gain early access to intensive career guidance programs from major tech corporations, and benefit from a seamless transition to top-tier universities within the same VNU ecosystem.

The city's development orientation for Hoa Lac perfectly aligns with the liberal education philosophy, emphasis on educational science, and talent cultivation that HES has pursued for the past 10 years. With its prime location and strong support from the VNU ecosystem, HES is committed to maximizing these advantages to provide students with an advanced educational environment, equipping them with the most solid foundation to confidently enter the digital era.
