(HES) - In the joyful atmosphere of the early days of the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, and upholding the nation's beautiful traditional customs, the High School of Education Sciences (HES) successfully organized a Spring Excursion for faculty, staff, and employees. This year’s journey brought the delegation back to Kinh Bac—the thousand-year-old cultural cradle of Bac Ninh.
Spring excursions and early-year temple visits have long been an annual activity of profound spiritual and cultural significance for the School and its Labor Union. This is not only an opportunity for the HES pedagogical collective to offer prayers for a new year of peace, health, and luck but also a precious time for teachers to relax, recharge, and strengthen collegial bonds after months of dedicated service to the cause of education.

The destination for the Spring 2026 journey was a complex of Bac Ninh's most famous spiritual and cultural historical sites. The delegation reverently offered incense at Do Temple, where the heroic history of the Ly Dynasty kings is honored; enjoyed the serene landscape of the ancient Phat Tich Pagoda, home to a rare stone statue of Amitabha Buddha; admired the architectural masterpiece of But Thap Pagoda with its legendary Bao Thien tower; and paid special tribute at the Kinh Duong Vuong Mausoleum, dedicated to the Ancestral King of the Vietnamese people.
Guided by passionate guides—who are themselves children of the Kinh Bac land—each stop brought the teachers a sense of sacred emotion and profound pride in their national roots and history.

Beyond spiritual activities, the trip was a complete multi-sensory cultural experience. The HES staff and faculty had the opportunity to savor famous specialties of the Bac Ninh countryside, such as Nem Bùi (fermented pork), Phu Thê cakes (husband and wife cakes), Mão Điền steamed rice rolls, and the delicious Hồ chicken.
Notably, the cultural space of the trip was highlighted by the smooth, deep melodies of Quan Ho Folk Songs and a fascinating hands-on experience in Dong Ho folk woodcut printing. In the warm spring atmosphere, time seemed to slow down as teachers shared stories of school life and their beloved students, fostering deeper mutual understanding and connection.

The 2026 "Return to Kinh Bac" excursion was short but left an indelible mark on every member of the High School of Education Sciences. The moments of gathering, the radiant smiles, and the well-wishes exchanged created a fulfilling start to the new year.
May all the prayers and wishes from this spring journey come true. With positive energy and a solid spirit of solidarity, we wish all staff, teachers, parents, and students of the High School of Education Sciences a year of the Horse 2026 filled with health, peace, and brilliant success!
