As part of the career orientation series and leading up to the 10th Anniversary of the school, on the afternoon of January 8, 2026, at the HES Space Hall, the High School of Education Sciences successfully organized the exchange program "HES Alumni Talk #3" with the theme: Go Global – HESers' Footprints on the Global Knowledge Map.
The program was attended by the School Management Board, teachers, and a large number of students interested in studying abroad and international integration. Notably, the event welcomed back distinguished alumni speakers currently studying and working in developed countries and territories such as the USA, Australia, Japan, Spain, and Taiwan (China).
During the exchange, the speakers provided a diverse and authentic picture of life as an international student. From experiences in securing valuable scholarships and methods for adapting to international academic environments to essential survival skills when living away from home—everything was shared openly and passionately.
Stories of overcoming language barriers, cultural differences, and peer pressure at top global universities served as a powerful inspiration for younger students. Through these stories, students understood that "Going Global" is not just about traveling the world; it is the process of equipping oneself with the mindset and resilience to become a true global citizen.
The panel discussion was lively, featuring a series of practical questions from students. Concerns regarding choosing a major, selecting a destination country, or career development paths after graduation were thoroughly addressed by the alumni based on their own real-world experiences.
The success and maturity of generations of alumni in international environments are the clearest evidence of the quality of education and the school's effective orientation over the past 10 years. HES does not just provide knowledge; it serves as a solid launching pad, providing the skills and language proficiency for students to confidently set sail into the vast ocean of global opportunities.
HES Alumni Talk #3 has concluded, but the resonance of the "dare to think, dare to do, dare to reach far" spirit will remain, motivating generations of HES students to continue putting their names on the world's knowledge map.
