There are lessons that cannot be confined to the pages of a book - they must be felt with the heart and explored through one’s own footsteps. To celebrate the Anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10), on the afternoon of Saturday, October 11, 2025, the teachers and students of the Excellent Student Team in History, together with Grade 10 students, embarked on a truly special “journey of learning”.
Their destination was the exhibition “The Silhouette of the Capital” at 61 Trang Tien, Hanoi, where they immersed themselves in the spirit of ancient Thang Long – Hanoi through precious documents and artifacts. It was a moment when HESers could truly touch history, as the thousand-year-old capital came alive - vivid, intimate, and deeply real.
As one student emotionally shared: “History doesn’t just live in textbooks - it breathes through every street, every roof tile, and every story of the people of Hanoi”.
The trip may have ended, but the feelings and inspiration it sparked will certainly endure. It stands as a clear reflection of HES’s educational philosophy - building a learning environment that goes beyond theoretical knowledge to provide meaningful real-world experiences. Such learning journeys nurture students’ passion, broaden their perspectives, and support their holistic growth.
HES sincerely thanks the “Imprints of Capital” team for creating such a valuable and meaningful exhibition space.
